What is Phosphate?

Better known as parkerizing, phosphate can be found on most military weapon systems, components, tactical rifles, pistols, shotguns, and accessories made of steel. Phosphate provides an excellent base for the application of Xtremcoat™.


Zinc Phosphate is a great base for holding oil, it improves lubricity, and resists corrosion.

Manganese Phosphate is an excellent base for holding oil, improving lubricity, and resisting corrosion. Manganese Phosphate is recommended for parts, having surface-to-surface contact with other parts.
